78820: Cesarean Birth Preparation - Virtual Class

Reviews the cesarean (C-section) birth and surgical procedure, expectations and postoperative recovery.  This 1½-hour virtual session is ideal for expectant mothers, partners and parents, and offers interactive chat with live Q&A.  Taught by our Labor & Delivery nurses.  Recommended to be taken in the 7th month to the early 9th month of pregnancy.  

Fee per couple or household:  $10

Registration, Privacy & Refund Policy: No recordings are available.  For a full refund, you must request to cancel registration at least three (3) days prior to class start date, otherwise a transfer or credit will be issued.

Accepting credit card payments through online registration only. Registration required at least 24 hours in advance to ensure access to the class.

Wondering what has changed in newborn care since you had your children? This 2 hour virtual class will update you on the most current parenting practices that align with what your children are being taught.

Topics include what's new in:

  • Safe Sleep practices
  • Bathing
  • Diapering
  • Breastfeeding
  • Car seat safety
  • Tummy time and brain development
  • How not to give advice!
  • Things to consider before your grandbaby is born

This 2 hour virtual class is designed for grandparents expecting their first grandbaby and focus on the first six weeks of life.

Cost is $25/couple.

Thrive at Three is a supportive, science-backed wellness workshop designed for mothers around three months postpartum—a critical but often overlooked stage of recovery. This engaging, culturally sensitive session introduces practical lifestyle strategies to help new moms rebuild energy, manage stress, improve sleep, and support healthy weight while caring for their baby.

Through expert-led discussion, peer connection, and actionable guidance, participants will explore:

This 1-hour In Person group session is ideal for families seeking midwifery services from the Midwives of Bay Area Maternity.  Led by one of the following El Camino Health certified nurse midwives, Danielle Coff,  Kavitha Noble (CNM),  Lin Lee (CNM)  and  Megan Frank (CNM).  This session is free and occurs the first Sunday of  every month  from 5pm to 6:00 pm.  Location Bay El Camino Los Gatos 815 Pollard Rd. 4th Trimester Maternal Mental Health & Wellbeing
