Join our new 6 week In Person New Parent Group!
- $150 for 6 sessions
- 0-3 Months babies
Would you like to meet other families with young babies experiencing the same joys and challenges? This in person group will cover topics such as
- Infant sleep - what's normal?
- Tummy time
- Playing with and reading to your baby
- Postpartum exercises, pelvic floor rehab
- Traveling with baby
- Parenting as Partners
Partners are welcome but don’t need to sign up.

This group is facilitated by two experienced Maternal Child Health nurses who are also mothers of young children. Class fee is $150 for the series of 6 sessions. Groups will be held on the El Camino Health Mountain View Campus. Class size limited.

Psychosocial stress is a major contributor to heart disease, accounting for nearly a third of the risk for heart attacks worldwide. In this engaging workshop, you’ll explore the science behind rest as a powerful tool to manage and reduce stress. Learn about the two essential forms of rest—resting while asleep and resting while awake—and how both can profoundly impact your ability to cope with stress, restore balance, and lower your risk for chronic disease. Special focus for this workshop will be on meditation, with practical guidance on how to incorporate these evidence-based strategies into your daily life.
4th Trimester Maternal Mental Health & Wellbeing
with Naina Sodhi
Discusses the 4th trimester, the period after the birth of a baby, the changes that occur, the opportunities to enhance parent wellbeing and plan for as well as promote self-care during this important time. This 1-hour virtual group session is ideal for parents and their support partner(s) who are preparing for the birth of a baby. Session is free and meets once every month; and brought to you by the Maternal Outreach Mood Services (MOMS) Program & Scrivner Center for Mental Health & Addiction Services.

[Virtual] Healthy Young Attitude Support Group
with Cancer Center Programs
The Healthy Young Attitude (HYA) support group is a casual, friendly peer-support group of young adults who are going through or have gone through a diagnosis of cancer. We share support, social activities, treatment information, options, ideas, and inspirations. The process usually involves screening and discussion for questions prior to joining this support group.

Instructor Bio : A certified Dayan qigong instructor from Wen Wu School of Martial Arts in El Cerrito, CA. Edith has been teaching Dayan Qigong at El Camino Health, Kaiser, Palo Alto Medical Foundation, and various senior facilities since 2004.

Wondering what has changed in newborn care since you had your children? This 2 hour virtual class will update you on the most current parenting practices that align with what your children are being taught.
Topics include what's new in:

- Breastfeeding
- Car seat safety
- Tummy time and brain development
- How not to give advice!
- Things to consider before your grandbaby is born
This 2 hour virtual class is designed for grandparents expecting their first grandbaby and focus on the first six weeks of life.

Maternal Mental Health Symposium
El Camino Health is pleased to present the 9th Annual Maternal Mental Health Symposium hosted through a gift from the Keller Family. This virtual event will be held on Friday, October 2nd, 2026 and will feature leading speakers in the perinatal mental health field.This free event is designed to expand access to essential perinatal mental health education. Through education and support, we strive to create healthier, more informed communities for all. We are excited to bring you a dynamic lineup of speakers and sessions.
